Every VPR pigeon has its own profile: appearance, generation, rarity, bloodline, breed type, genotypes, category, abilities, progression and race history. Some parts of that identity are fixed from the start. Others develop as the pigeon competes.
The bird you begin with is the same bird whose record you build. A name can change. Experience can grow. Race results can accumulate. The core identity remains connected to the pigeon throughout its life in the ecosystem.
NFT is the technical name for the unique digital ownership record behind each pigeon. It is not a separate collectible that sits beside the game. It is the ownership layer for the playable pigeon itself.
Think of it as a secure digital ring and ownership certificate. The ring identifies the specific bird. The certificate shows that the bird belongs to you. Together, they allow the same pigeon to keep its identity beyond one session, one device or one account screen.
Your pigeons appear inside My Loft, where you can view profiles, compare data, manage your racers and prepare for competition. Behind the scenes, ownership is connected through a supported digital wallet.
You do not need to become a blockchain expert to play. VPR guides the required steps, while the game remains focused on pigeons and races. Your private access information remains yours. VPR will never ask for a private key or recovery phrase.
Blockchain gives the pigeon a verifiable ownership and identity layer. It helps prove which pigeon exists, who controls it and which fixed attributes belong to it. That creates continuity and makes hidden replacement or silent rewriting of the core identity harder.
Not every changing number needs to live on-chain. VPR uses a hybrid structure: core ownership and selected identity information are anchored through blockchain technology, while dynamic gameplay information—such as live telemetry, XP calculations and changing performance data—can be managed efficiently inside the application.
The result is practical: ownership can be verified without turning every race action into a technical task for the player.

The fixed side protects what the pigeon is. The developing side records what the pigeon becomes.
In many games, a character is only an entry inside a publisher-controlled account. In VPR, the pigeon carries a persistent identity. Its ownership can change, but the same bird remains connected to its broader record inside the VPR ecosystem.
That continuity matters. The champion you race today can become a proven parent later. A new owner can evaluate the same pigeon’s identity and performance context. A bloodline can be followed across generations instead of disappearing when an account changes.
Generation 1 is the original foundation population created by VPR. Its total supply is permanently limited to 60,000 pigeons. More Generation 1 birds cannot be created later.
Future generations enter through breeding. That makes Gen 1 the starting point of the wider lineage system—not because every Gen 1 pigeon is automatically a champion, but because every later generation begins with a foundation somewhere in its pedigree.
The NFT is not the game. The pigeon is. The game is racing it, reading its performance, developing its profile and building a bloodline around what it can become.

Do I need crypto experience?
No. You need to complete the secure ownership setup when you acquire a pigeon, but VPR is designed to guide players who have never used NFTs or blockchain before.
Where is my pigeon?
You manage it inside My Loft. Its ownership is connected to a supported digital wallet behind the scenes.
Can VPR secretly replace my pigeon’s genetics?
Core genetics and fixed identity attributes are intended to remain immutable. Progression and race data can grow, but the foundational pigeon does not silently become another bird.
Can I transfer or sell a pigeon?
Yes, where supported by the current marketplace and platform flow. The pigeon keeps its identity as ownership changes.
Is every piece of race data stored on-chain?
No. VPR uses a hybrid model. Core ownership and identity are suited to blockchain verification; dynamic gameplay data is handled inside the application for speed and usability.
